Through music theory tutoring, I can help you make sense of music notation and harmony. Whether you are a novice musician or a college music major, I can help you with topics from basic note and rhythm reading through harmonic analysis and part writing.

I was fortunate to have had excellent music theory training while in elementary school, and since I had a good grasp on the concepts before entering college, I tutored many of my music major friends while in college. I taught music theory at The Chicago High School for the Arts for 11 years, developed curriculum for the course, and managed the school's music theory tutoring program. After teaching music theory almost completely online during the 2020-2021 school year, I'm comfortable using technology to offer music theory tutoring both remotely or in person.
